Service Manager/Senior Support Worker
Permanent, Full time 37.5 hours per week
15 hrs in Service Manager Role and 22.5 hrs in Senior Support Worker Role.

Service Manager - Salary starts at £20,000 to £21,800 per annum pro rata rising to £27,100 per annum pro rata.
Senior Support worker - Salary starts at £17,600 to £19,100 per annum pro rata rising to £23,500 per annum pro rata.

We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Service Manager and Senior Support worker with great leadership abilities like you.
As Service Manager you’ll get involved in lots of different duties supporting the Senior Service Manager in the delivery of efficient, high quality, cost effective and customer centred services, empowering customers to live independently and making it a great place to work for our colleagues. 

You’ll manage the service in line with contract requirements, be the support lead on referrals and assessments and ensure that a high quality, customer focused service is delivered at all times.  Join us in delivering support with a difference and develop your skills in the effective planning of support, operational management and the delivery of contracts which is truly customer-centred and outcomes-based.
As Lead support worker you will help shape our services, undertake risk assessments, support planning, goal setting and regular reviews.  You’ll also guide and allocate tasks to our Support Workers too.  It’s really important to us that you have time to what you are really passionate about; making a real difference to our customers lives.  So to free up your time, you’ll be given the latest IT kit, which could include a Surface Pro tablet and smart phone, supported by our new online integrated IT system which means that you don’t have to be in the office as you can complete support plans on the go.  You’ll also be paid between customer visits and for your mileage too.

A bit about you

With an excellent working knowledge of the Housing and Care & Support sectors, you will have strong organisational and communication skills.
Your key strengths will lie in people management and motivation, fostering positive working relationships with stakeholders and the ability to drive the consistent delivery of high quality services which meet the needs of our customers and commissioners.
You will have strong interpersonal skills, the ability to provide creative and innovative solutions to problems and will demonstrate a positive, can-do approach. With a proven track record in achieving results and motivating colleagues to ensure high performance at all times, you will also have experience of liaising with commissioners and the skills to identify new business opportunities within the sector.
To flourish in the role, your passion for promoting independence and social inclusion will be matched by your focus on quality and efficiency.  You’ll impress us with your leadership abilities and proven track record in achieving results through motivating colleagues to deliver high performance at all times.   It’s also important that you have excellent communication skills, IT skills and are great at building effective working relationships with colleagues, customers and external professionals so you can effectively engage support for our customers.
